Rick has successfully represented individuals with different levels of paralysis (quadriplegia & paraplegia), severe traumatic brain injury, and amputation in their workers’ compensation claims. Many of these cases ultimately resulted in multi-million dollar settlements.
Representation of clients who have sustained catastrophic injuries due to motor vehicle accidents are components of Rick’s background. Acting as lead counsel, Rick was essential in recovering a $9 million settlement obtained on behalf of a young woman who sustained permanent brain damage after her car collided with a commercial truck.
Rick lives in Charlotte, surrounded by three girls: his wife of 25 years; their daughter, who attends the University of Colorado; and his 5-pound companion, Lilly, the morkie.
