Tammie is one of our legal assistants. She is responsible primarily for the maintenance of workers’ compensation client files. She has been with the firm and its predecessors since 1994 and was a founding staff member of The Sumwalt Law Firm in 1999. Tammie is a native Charlottean who enjoys lake life with her two dogs.
Melissa is one of our legal assistants. Previously with Price Petho & Anderson since 2008, she continues to be responsible for managing both workers’ compensation and personal injury files through the claims and litigation process. Melissa is a native Charlottean who graduated from Belmont Abbey College. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her daughter.
Lynda began her career with Price & Smith Attorneys at Law in 1979, filling the roles of both office manager and legal assistant. She now shares her legal assistant experience with us and is responsible primarily for personal injury claims. Before working in the legal field, Lynda taught elementary school for ten years. She enjoys exercise, cooking, traveling the world, and looking for new adventures.
Juliet is a North Carolina Certified Paralegal. She was previously with Deuterman Law Group from 2008 until joining Sumwalt Anderson Law Firm in 2024. She specializes in managing all aspects of the workers’ compensation claims and litigation process. She also assists with managing the operations of the Greensboro Office. Outside of work, she enjoys running and spending time with her husband and son.
