Meet Lauren

Lauren grew up in Mooresville, North Carolina. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree from Wake Forest University and her law degree from the University of South Carolina School of Law.

Lauren joined Sumwalt Anderson’s predecessor, The Sumwalt Law Firm, as an associate attorney in 2013. She practices primarily in the area of workers’ compensation law and has experience handling a wide range of work injury, occupational disease, and death claims, including complex workers’ compensation claims involving attendant care.

Lauren enjoys spending time with her husband and two children.
